Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader on Thursday said the government is working for smooth traffic movement during the Eid-ul-Azha and the Durga Puja."We are taking necessary initiatives to ease vehicular movement during the two biggest religious festivals for ensuring hassle-free safe journey of people," he told the journalists after visiting different roads here.
Truck movements have been restricted three days before and after Eid, Quader said adding the trucks carrying perishable products, foods and fuels are only allowed for movement during the period.
