Miscreants have set off at least five bombs at a UP member's supporter's house at Shilai union in Sadar upazila of Munshiganj. Police said the blasts took place at UP member candidate Shahjahan Sardar's supporter Zahirul Mijhi's house around 11pm on Monday.
However, there was no report of any casualty or injury in the incident as there was no one in the house at the time.
Contacted, officer in-charge of Sadar Police Station Mohammad Sahidul Islam confirmed the incident and said a drive was launched to arrest the miscreants.
