ধলেশ্বরী নদী থেকে অজ্ঞাত ব্যক্তির লাশ উদ্ধার

মুন্সীগঞ্জের সিরাজদিখানের ধলেশ্বরী নদী থেকে অজ্ঞাত এক ব্যক্তির লাশ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। শনিবার রাত ৮টায় উপজেলার বালুরচর ইউনিয়নের চারপানিয়ারচর এলাকা থেকে ওই লাশ উদ্ধার করা হয়। স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, আজ বিকেলে বালুরচর ইউনিয়নের পানিয়ারচর এলাকার ধলেশ্বরী নদীতে অজ্ঞাত একটি লাশ ভাসতে দেখে গ্রামবাসী পুলিশে খবর দিলে পুলিশ লাশটি উদ্ধার করে।

ছাত্র নির্যাতনের কথা অস্বীকার করলেন ফখরুদ্দীন

২০০৭ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সেনা-ছাত্র সংঘর্ষের ঘটনার পর ছাত্র নির্যাতনের বিষয়টি অস্বীকার করেছেন সাবেক তত্ত্বাবধায়ক সরকারের প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. ফখরুদ্দীন আহমদ। তিনি বলেছেন, এ ব্যাপারে তিনি কিছুই জানতেন না। সংসদীয় কমিটির কাছে পাঠানো এক ই-বার্তায় তিনি এ দাবি করেছেন।
